Looking for a highly motivated individual to manage its global shipping process. This position is responsible for oversight, review and execution of domestic and international shipping to from Stealth s vendors. Candidates responsibilities include regulatory compliance oversight of shipping activity per IATADOT, international export requirements and supervise vendors scheduling and shipping, problem resolution, DOT characterization and customs requirements. The individual will develop GMP procedures for international and domestic shipments. RESPONSIBILITIES Supervise all import export shipments in compliance with internal company policy as well as external regulatory requirements, such as cGxP, 49 CFR, ICAO, and IATA guidelines. Must have working knowledge of freight classes and cold chain shipping Develop program to ensure GMP temperature monitoring equipment is in line with GMP regulated requirements. Ensures that all shipment s HTC (Harmonized Tariff Codes) are correct. Develops user friendly Electronic Shipping forms. Responsible for recordkeeping and associated file retention requirements per company and applicable regulations. Ensures all shipments have the appropriate paperwork and permits for shipping internationally. Supports investigations and commitments related to product shipments. Confirms correct information being transmitted to US customs. Confirms correct import information supplied to FDA import inspectors. Confirms all USDA import requirements are met. Orders supplies ensuring the flow of work is uninterrupted. Monitor transit progress, work with couriers and consignees to resolve any clearance delays andor requests for additional documentation or information update electronic shipping databases accordingly. QUALIFICATIONS The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years' hands-on experience working in a cGMP environment and experienced in good shipping practices and regulations (domestic and international) working with international carriers 49 CFR Transportation of Dangerous Goods (DOT) trained. IATA Certified CAT A B training a plus. The candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills and the ability to work with multiple groups within the company and network. Must be proactive in taking the initiative to problem solve and identify continuous improvement opportunities. Must be detail oriented and be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines. Excellent organizational skills, sufficient to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities in a collaborate team environment. Competency with computers is required. Ability to quickly learn, and be proficient with, import export applications is required.
