Role: JDA TMS Practice Lead Location: Bentonville, AR Duration: 12+ Months
The JDA Practice Lead Consultant is responsible for applying knowledge and expertise around the TMS and WMS product and services to the overall design and implementation required to meet clients' needs.
Develops a plan to deliver a complete solution.
Works with client organizations to enhance supply chain and logistics performance through strategic planning, process re-engineering and/or information technology implementation.
Work with clients to maintain and enhance complex enterprise Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
Collaborate with a team to ensure completion of deliverables and phases throughout the life cycle of the project.
Utilize project management and support tools to document progress and guarantee timely completion of assigned tasks.
Build relationships with clients and other program level stakeholders.
Share best practices and be consultative to clients throughout duration of the project.
Produce a detailed functional design document to match client requirements.
Co-implement the configuration of the solution.
Participate in internal projects as required.
Participate in pre-sales activities as needed.
Participate in industry and marketing activities as needed.
General understanding of transportation, transportation concepts, understanding of freight rates, logistics functional processes, familiarity with standard transportation transactions.
Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into solution designs.
Ability to demonstrate good judgment and a pragmatic approach to delivering a solution that optimizes architecture activities across company needs, business constraints and technological realities
At least 15 years of professional consulting implementation experience.
At least 8 years of JDA / RedPrairie TMS and WMS solution design experience.
Implemented at least 3 full cycles of JDA /RedPrairie implementations with multiple rollouts for each implementation.
Demonstrate a solid grasp of supply chain, logistics, and distribution functional concepts.
Effective communication skills, including the ability to present complex information to individuals, small groups, and executive leadership.
Ability to demonstrate good judgment and a pragmatic approach to delivering a solution that optimizes architecture activities across company needs, business constraints and technological realities.
Experience with other supply chain execution systems such as Manhattan Associates, HighJump, and SAP
