The Receiving Associate supports theAssistant Store Manager, Operations by executing the shipping/receiving ofmerchandise. Supports the omnichannel approach providing a seamlessshopping experience to both the online and in store customer.

  • Receive various trucks and processincoming merchandise in an efficient, and organized manner

  • Process store receipts to be floorready:hung, sensored and ticketedappropriately

  • Identify damaged/defective andmisrouted merchandise and claim within corporate guidelines

  • Process MOS/RTV repairs forinventory control

  • Communicate with appropriatedivision regarding shipment delays and errors

  • Assist with inventory balances ofshipped merchandise

  • Process and send COM merchandise forreturn by appropriate division

  • Work closely with Store Managementand Associates to fulfill customer orders and transfers in a timely manner

  • Box merchandise and package forshipment with appropriate outbound paperwork

  • Field calls from customer service onorder changes including address changes, cancellations, and customer issues

  • Serve as a liaison between theonline fulfillment center and store operations

  • Follow all safety procedures on thedock and in all other work areas

  • Perform other duties as required

  • Qualifications


  • 1+ years of receiving experience.Retail experience preferred

  • Strong communications skills and be multitask oriented

  • Strong organizational and problem solving skills

  • Ability to perform general math computations

  • Possess basic computer skills

  • Capable of lifting materials of up to 35 pounds

  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule based on business needs including evenings, weekends and holidays
