The Warehouse Inventory Supervisor plans, organizes and monitors the distribution of all inventory received from our suppliers or production shops, ensures a smooth and consistent flow of inventory is distributed throughout the warehouse in an effective and efficient manner as needed to satisfy internal and external customer requirements. The position oversees the storage and distribution of approximately 5,000 Skus; monitors inventory accuracy and variances; implements controls to drive and improve metrics; and supervises up to 100+ associates across 3 shifts.

Plans and coordinates work, trains and motivates staff, monitors and evaluates performance of warehouse and associates; ensures their ability to safely operate material handling equipment to move materials to and from storage configurations; counsels, records and disciplines as necessary.
Develops crew leaders to effectively oversee the daily routines of their assigned crew members.
Monitors the flow of all materials across floors; ensures materials are accurately counted and inspected.
Resolves inventory discrepancies across departments regarding exceptions. Investigates root cause analysis to minimize inventory adjustments.
Oversees the movement of material from receiving to the warehouse in an efficient, effective and safe manner.
Tracks all inventory to maximize storage capacity and conserve space to comply with safety procedures.
Develops and recommends annual budget requirements for the warehouse and Inventory department. Anticipates and requests funding for future personnel requirements. Anticipates and requests funding for future material handling equipment.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
A completed Bachelors Degree from an accredited university preferred
3+ years of experience in inventory, distribution and operational procedures
2+ years of supervisory experience
Proven ability to supervise and lead team members while working effectively as part of the management team
Experience with performance metrics and process improvement
Ability to identify opportunities, find solutions, execute plans, and evaluate results critically
Able to multitask and work independently
Solid Knowledge of data analysis, inventory management software, forecasting techniques
Strong critical thinking skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
